Hitting the Right Note With Personal Branding

Shelley Harland is a singer who travels the world promoting her music and providing entertainment to thousands.
Her personal brand website is shelleyharland.com and the first thing that happens when you visit her site is that you hear tracks from her most recent album Wonder.
This makes very good sense as singing is what she does for a living. She has a mailing list that people can join and a link to iTunes which is also very appropriate for a singer.
Irrespective of where she goes with her music she will always be known as Shelley Harland and therefore her personal brand will develop with her fame.
One of the distinct advantages of personal branding is that your name is a constant. People who meet you can easily find you online by typing your name into Google.
Do this at Google for Shelley Harland and you’ll find that her personal branding website is number one.
If you have not registered your name as a domain you can do so very easily by clicking here.

After more than five years of sending out work for publication and collecting only rejection letters, Elizabeth Gilbert finally broke onto the literary scene in 1993, when one of her short stories was pulled from the slush pile at Esquire magazine and published under the heading “The Debut of an American Writer.”
She has since written the #1 New York Times Bestselling memoir “Eat, Pray, Love,” about the year she spent traveling the world alone after a difficult divorce. Anne Lamott called Eat, Pray, Love “wise, jaunty, human, ethereal, heartbreaking.” The book has been a worldwide success, now published in over thirty languages with over 7 million copies in print. It was named by The New York Times as one of the 100 most notable books of 2006, and chosen by Entertainment Weekly as one of the best ten nonfiction books of the year. In 2008, Elizabeth was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, by Time Magazine
